Property Description
Halls Walls is not just a property but a lifestyle. Steeped in history and occupying a plot of just under an acre, a period property with quirky interior and a range of outbuildings, this must be seen to be appreciated.
Located in the village of Martletwy, a rural location close to the Haven waterway and the boating centre of Lawrenny. The nearest towns, just a short drive away, are Narberth loved by locals and tourists and the commercial hub of Haverfordwest.

Built on the site of a Medieval manor house, Halls walls is as interesting as its past.
The plot itself consists of pastureland, wooded area with stream, small pond, lawned gardens to the rear and side and various other secluded sections that add interest to the fascinating charm of this unique property.
The property, a traditional Welsh, double-fronted, detached stone house sits at the end of a long private driveway. Most of the land fronts the house which can be seen from both the downstairs reception rooms, which sit either side of the main entrance and hallway. Both rooms are of good proportion, and both have large inglenook stone fireplaces with traditional cast iron wood burners. This method of heating is in addition to the electric heating and water system in the house.

The Right-hand reception room is currently used as the main reception room which is adjoined to the fitted kitchen at the rear of the house through an open walkway.

The kitchen has a country feel with overhead utensil rack. Walking through the kitchen which opens out into a utility room and downstairs toilet. The left-hand reception room, currently used as a living room has double doors leading into a conservatory, the front of which is completely glazed and overlooks the rear garden which is laid to lawn.

A walk along a path leads you through a stone wall to a leisure activities area and some outbuildings with three very different uses.
The largest to the left, nearest the house, is stone and timber built mancave /party room with gadgets and different lighting galore, it is large enough to house two large sofas and fully working bar. Attached to this is a second workshop well equipped with workbench.

A third building of similar proportions is a light and airy workshop and crafting building, ideal for running art, pottery or just crafting workshops or holidays. The end of this building opens out onto the open countryside beyond. There are also 3 other outside sheds and a third stone and wooden building is a used as a covered outdoor BBQ area.

Upstairs there are three good sized double bedrooms the largest, at the far end of the landing, runs from front to back of the house with views over the acreage at the front of the house and the gravel driveway. The bathroom has a bath, and corner shower. Access to this floor is via the central staircase.

In addition to the house itself there is a static caravan that sleeps six and has disabled access via ramped decking, its own veranda with table and chairs that overlooks the pond and wooded area. Which has holiday let potential.
This property is unusual in every sense and has the ability of multiple uses.
If you’re looking for escapism, then this is it.
